Bealtaine Celebration, Sunday 2nd May 7-9pm by Zoom
You are warmly invited to join us for a special celebration of the Celtic fire festival of Bealtaine (May Day) and the coming of summer. This is a time to re-emerge from the darker half of the year and open ourselves to the growth, warmth, joy and abundance of summer – a transition that feels particularly poignant in this pandemic year.
We will draw on the rich traditions of Bealtaine that reflect our connection with nature and the spirit of the land, decorating the May-bush and featuring a live Bealtaine fire at Brigit’s Garden. The online evening will be as participatory as possible with song, story, meditation, small group discussion and sharing intentions.
After the main event we will keep the Zoom room open for a while for people who would like to stay and ‘gather round the fire’ to chat or sing.
This event is brought to you from Brigit’s Garden by Ann Marie Horan, Carol Barrett, Caroline McFadden and Jenny Beale.
All are welcome, there is a €10 contribution to Brigit’s Garden and you can book your place here. Please email email@example.com if you require a free place.
